Harmonium Guru

Hello! I’m Gurpreet Singh, the founder of Harmonium Guru.

My musical journey began in 2008, with no musical background in my family. I’m proud to be the first musician in my family, driven by pure passion, dedication, and self-learning. Over time, I mastered various instruments and later pursued formal education in music.

I hold a B.A. and M.A. in Music from Punjab University, which helped me blend traditional knowledge with modern teaching methods.

I am a master in playing the harmonium, banjo (bulbul tarang), and keyboard, with years of experience performing and teaching.

Teaching Journey

In 2016, I began teaching music online through my YouTube channel – Harmonium Guru, with a mission to make music education accessible to everyone, especially those who lack access to formal training or teachers.
